More lucky winners named in Nano Hearing Aids giveaway contest
Readers: As I mentioned a few weeks back, Nano Hearing Aids — nanohearingaids.com — was giving away 24 pairs of hearing aids through this column.
The company is in the process of contacting the people it picked for this giveaway based on their need and their inability to pay for hearing aids on their own. Here are the seventh and eighth lucky winners:
Nano: I am not sure if this is true or not.
But for my husband and our family, it would be a life saver! We have been married for over 20 years, and he has been a sheriff’s deputy for 16 of those years. I finally made him get a hearing test around Christmastime last year, and he has significant hearing loss.
I can’t find the $5,500 for hearing aids, and can’t afford to take out a loan, either. It breaks my heart that I can’t help him hear better after all he does for me, my son, our families and total strangers, too.
Hearing aids are not covered or discounted in any way under his health insurance. I just want him to be able to hear, especially at work, to be safe at the job that more than likely caused the hearing loss.
Please keep him in mind for the hearing aid giveaway.
Thank you. R.D.
Nano: I recently came across an article in The New York Post digital edition about this giveaway. I know this is a long shot, but figured I would try either way.
I am a 45-year-old US Navy veteran who suffers from mild hearing loss and tinnitus. After working in engine/reactor rooms onboard two Navy ships, my hearing is not what it used to be.
I’ve heard a number of great things about your company, and would love to be a loyal owner of your hearing aids. I hope you will consider me for a pair of your great product.
Thank you for your consideration. E.H.
