New iPhone 13 buzz gives Apple stock a lift
Apple Watch update could monitor blood pressure, temperature for fertility planning

Apple's iPhone 13, the newest iteration, isn't available yet, but it's already a showstopper for investors who have pushed the stock to near-record highs.
Shares closed at $154.30 on Friday, a new record.

Demand for the iPhone 13, according to Dan Ives of Wedbush, is solid. "Our Asia supply chain checks for 2H heading into Labor Day weekend continue to put iPhone builds between 130M-150M. The iPhone 13 appears to represent 35%-45% of iPhone builds in Q3" he wrote in a note to clients.
A formal launch, in his guestimate, is slated for the third week in September with an invite expected any day now.
