‘No issues anymore!’ Mrs Hinch fans share £1 hack for unclogging hair from a bath

Cleaning star Mrs Hinch, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, garnered popularity after sharing her cleaning tips. The cleaning sensation and influencer has managed to gain an impressive 4.1 million followers on Instagram. Now, fans of hers have created their own social media groups dedicated to sharing cleaning and tidying tips.

On one of the groups, a Facebook user asked how to unclog her bath.

Pâge Bet asked fellow users: “Any ideas to unclog a bath? I think it’s my hair that’s clogged it up.

“It empties soooo slowly. I’ve tried drain unblockers etc but none have worked also bleach but I’m stuck on what to try now?!”

The post was inundated with hacks from Mrs Hinch fans but the most common suggestion was to use hair removal cream.

Facebook user Melanie Rimmer said: “Hair removal cream?”

Josielee Cook suggested the same: “Hair removal cream straight down the plug hole and rinse with boiling water.”

Lorena Pérez Jiménez said:”Hair removal cream, I buy £1 ones from Poundland.

“I do this every month. No issues anymore.”

Nicola Evans commented on the post: “Squirt Hair removal cream down the plughole.”

Sarah-Jane Hughes agreed, saying: “Squeeze a tube of hair removal cream down there, leave for a few hours then flush it through.”

Eileen Stittlavery said: “Might sound strange but hair removal cream.”

Social media user Jules Sarah Thompson also suggested the bizarre hack.

She said: “I put Nair hair removal cream down mine, just squirt it down leave for half hour and it’s done.”

Many other beauty stores and supermarkets sell the product for a similar price.

Some Facebook users had other suggestions for unclogging the plughole.

Maria Kibbler said: “Have you tried a plunger over the plughole?”

While Lucy Broadway replied: “Caustic soda but make sure you mix it properly and don’t get it on your skin or clothes.”

Colleen Whelan said: “Unscrew the plug and use a iron clothes hanger to hook it out.”

Teresa Bartley O’Connor suggested the same: “If you have a wire clothes hanger.

“Twist open and put the twisty bit down and pull for dear life.”
